Amal Abu Shalakh is a prominent Emirati sports administrator and former gymnastics, ballet, and basketball player. A UAE Football Association board member, she was the first Emirati woman to run for federation membership through elections.
She chairs the UAE Women’s Football Committee, is Vice-President of West Asia’s Women’s Committee, and sits on the AFC’s Women’s Football Committee.
She is also an active UAE Olympic Committee board member and chairs the Zayed International Charity Marathon’s supreme committee, held in Egypt.
