Caroline Maher is an Egyptian pioneer combining world-class sport with political and professional empowerment. She holds a Media degree from AUC and a Master’s in Business/Public Administration. A former taekwondo world champion with over 130 international medals across 40 countries,
she was the first Arab/African woman inducted into the US Taekwondo Hall of Fame. Appointed by presidential decree in 2015 as Egypt’s youngest MP, she championed women’s and children’s issues, including anti-harassment legislation.
She has also worked as an independent HR expert and as HR Director at Peugeot Egypt Motors, and volunteers with the “Helm” foundation supporting people with disabilities.
